This week, we're diving into the science and practice of fasting — one of the most powerful (and misunderstood) tools for health, healing, and long-term vitality. 🧠⚡
We’ll explore:
🥄 Why fast? From autophagy to insulin sensitivity, lower inflammation to cardiovascular benefits — we’ll break down benefits and risks, and discuss which outcomes matter to your current goals.
⏳ Types of fasting We’ll cover the differences between intermittent, dry, water, and juice fasting — and how to choose the right one based on your biomarkers and lifestyle.
💧 How to do a water fast safely What to expect, what to watch out for, and how to prepare. We’ll share protocols, tips, and tracking tools that help make fasting safer and easier.
📊 How to tell if it’s working We’ll walk through ways to measure progress based on your goals — whether that’s weight loss, lowering blood pressure, clearing arteries, or improving insulin resistance. We’ll also talk about which biomarkers and wearable data (HRV, glucose, ketones, blood pressure, etc.) are worth tracking — and what they actually mean.
